A concert to benefit suicide awareness and prevention through the SAM Foundation.
Saturday, August 6, 2022 | 5:30 PM EDT to 10:00 PM EDT
Join us under the stars at Matilda’s for The SAM Foundation's benefit concert on August 6, 2022! As seen last year on Jimmy Fallon’s music competition show, "Clash of the Cover Bands," Slippery When Wet will perform many of Bon Jovi's biggest hits, with special guest host and comedian, Jamie Bendall. The SAM Foundation’s mission is to prevent suicide through public awareness and education. Our hope is to change the way our communities view mental health and serve as a resource to those who have been affected by suicide.
Your support is vital in helping us create suicide safer communities. Please consider the many ways you may contribute to this event through sponsorships, donations or attending the event.

Other SAM Foundation events...
The SAM Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. To achieve the mission of preventing suicide through education and public awareness, the foundation focuses on three main goals: educate, elevate and support.
We promote and facilitate a variety of training programs to educate gatekeepers in our local communities. The SAM Foundation acts as a link to multiple organizations that provide suicide awareness and prevention training. All training programs are provided at no cost or a reduced cost.
The SAM Foundation hosts and sponsors awareness events throughout the year to raise awareness of suicide within our communities, encouraging individuals to attend a training and learn how to intervene in a life saving way.
We work to support those impacted by suicide as well as organizations involved in the suicide prevention community. We encourage survivors to join a survivor support group or find a group in your local community. We also partner with counselors in Madison, AL to provide counseling scholarships for those with suicidal ideations.
